Chris Bird was delighted to see a Swallow at Aberystwyth this afternoon, flying over the road between Penparcau and Trefechan. Later he saw a 2nd winter Mediterranean Gull on College rocks.
Also at Aberystwyth, Kevin McGee noticed a male Blackcap at the Llanbadarn campus and I counted 8 Purple Sandpipers at high tide this morning. Later we saw the family of 5 Whooper Swans which are still at Ystumtuen.
