Tregaron Bog
There are days when Tregaron Bog can seem devoid of birds. Today wasn't one of those days. The highlights included 2 drake Gadwall (first seen by Liz a couple of days ago), a Little Egret, a ringtail Hen Harrier, 2 Black-tailed Godwits and an amazing (by Ceredigion standards) flock of 10 Ruffs, some of which were starting to get their ruffs! Also of note were two Cormorants one of which was a sinensis (continental race), identifiable by its white head but more importantly the shape of the patch of bare skin at the base of the bill.
