This morning Roy and I went to have a look by the side of the Leri at Cors Fochno. We spotted a Black-tailed Godwit, a couple of Reed Buntings and a handful of other birds before visiting the turn car park. There we saw 5 or 6 Sanderling, a Long-tailed Duck on the sea but quite close to land, 5 Great Crested Grebes, a few Common Scoter and 25-30 Manx Shearwater. We also saw 8 Bottle-nosed Dolphins, 3 of them, including a small one quite close to the shore.
This afternoon on our walk along the wall Buster and I encountered singing Chiffchaff and Blackcap a Goldcrest and Sparrowhawk heard calling.
