So, I missed the Kentish Plover but together with Gary Smith (CCW Ynyslas) saw the Short-eared Owl hunting along the sea-wall just upstream of the Leri. We also heard a Whimbrel.
As I started to head home a Whimbrel was feeding near the golf course.
