Field trips

An Appeal From The Heart

We have had some lovely field trips recently but unfortunately they have often
been poorly attended. I realise that the Ceredigion group is full of globe
trotters who are off searching for exotic species (& reliable weather) in the
summer so we "stop at homes" have missed them but understand. Now, as the
holiday makers return and the  autumn gets closer, I am making an appeal for
volunteers to lead field trips. As I have said before you don't need a lot of
knowledge, you just need a favourite walk and a couple of hours to spare one
weekend. If you watch autumn migrants or look for winter ducks then why not
invite the group to join you and we can all enjoy good bird watching and a
chance to chat about the good things we saw in the summer.

I look forward to floods of volunteers so please do not let me down.
