A fine day so I took the opportunity to check some of the Red Kite nests that I monitor for the Welsh Kite Trust. It was pleasing to see that all had survived the wind and rain of last week, with evidence of well grown poults in some of the nests. Also checked some Pied Flies - busy feeding youngsters so again good news.
