Storm petrels at Borth

Having read in Birdguides that some 90 storm petrels were seen off Criccieth I had a quick sea-watch yesterday at Borth and was very pleased to see one storm petrel feeding just off the new reef at Borth. This morning, I was there again and in 2 hours saw 5 storm petrels, all heading south but one or two were feeding on the way and were in view for 15 minutes or so. A small flock of common scoter flew north with around 100 gannets south and over 5000 manx shearwaters, mainly headinjg north.
