Kev, we would have been delighted to see you. Bob and I and my group found 37 Golden Plovers and 14 Knot plus several Dunlin and Ringed Plovers amongst the pebbles at Ynyslas at low tide this afternoon. Also good to meet Terry on a return visit from Yorkshire.
Yesterday Chris Bird noted 277 Mediterranean Gulls at Llanrhystud and today, 26 Turnstones at Aberystwyth.
Brendan Sheilds, a new uni student, tells me he sighted a Pomarine Skua, 6 Gannets and a Manx Shearwater off Aberystwyth today and 18 Ringed Plovers and a Mediterranean Gull on College Rocks. Welcome Brendan. What a good start!
