Cors Caron Hen Harriers... and last dragonfly?

A brief stop at Pont Einon yesterday (Weds) lunchtime produced a male and a ring-tail Hen Harrier both soaring high over Cors Caron in company with the local Kites, the male chasing about in a sort of display (although not the sky-dancing type). A female Sparrowhawk flew over at close range, giving a total - with the usual Buzzards - of 4 raptor species in about 10 minutes. Add in a Great Spotted Woodpecker flypast and a bit of watery sunshine, and it wasn't a bad lunch-stop!

This morning a male Southern Hawker was buzzing up and down the lane in Bow Street - last dragonfly of the year?
