After that excellent view of a merlin through your new scope at Ynyshir this morning I had a walk along the reservoir in Cwm Rheidol later in the day after the wind had died down. A kingfisher flew past low over the water, also a little grebe, 2 cormorants, 7 teal, 6 goosander and a heron.
