The summer plumage Great Crested Grebe was still present but distant and the Eider had moved further along the bay towards the harbour.
At Tanybwlch, in addition there were 17 Curlews and a Mediterranean Gull on the flooded fields which flew off to sea before John arrived.
Also, as we were watching the wader we had an overflying flock of 12 Chough, a Peregrine and a Sparrowhawk.
