stormy weather

Popped over to Llanrhystud this morning. Surprised at how wild it was at the coast. Mountainous waves were crashing over the ridge in to the car park. I made my way along the landward side to view the flood water where 55 Med Gulls were present. There was almost an embarrassing incident when I nearly fell and sat on 3 Ringed Plovers which were too preoccupied to notice my slithering, stumbling approach. Further progress seemed at best unpleasant and at worse dangerous so I retreated to the car park. I hung around for 20 minutes hoping something good would pass by but it never did. Hopefully, others will be luckier.
