Death at sea

Well I know I'm always bringing corpses to your attention but the news from Birdguides is truly horrific: fishermen have reported seeing garden birds in their hundreds/thousands drown in the North Sea as they flew from Scandinavian sunshine into fog and rain off the British coast. Apparently Bempton Cliff was dripping in birds but they have quickly moved on so enjoy these winter visitors as they must be the fittest of the fit.
