cooking apples that I have been nerchering all year; being the first
apples the tree has produced. Imagine my shock when I discovered four of
the apples missing without a trace one morning. The culprit showed up this
week strolling around my garden and the neighbours at 10.30 in the morning
without a care in the world. Even posing for a picture; I'll have to think
up some form of protection for my apples if he's still around next year.
