Along the Bontgoch road from Bow Street, there were large numbers of Common Gull in the fields to the left, plus some up on the hills before you drop down to Bontgoch.
Just below the windfarm, on an old reservoir, there were 11 wigeon, 1 moorhen, a few hundred blck headed gulls and a whooper Swan.
Nice to see so much life on a lake locally!
The very long staying juv whooper swans have left an iced over pond Llywernog, but I expect them back once it thaws out!
