Having only had 1 brambling occasionally each winter we have now been blessed with 6 on a daily basis this week. They are staying with a large flock of Chaffinches and 4 Goldfinches making a most colouful addition to the garden.
The Grey Plover and 2 Sanderlings are still down at Llanhystud. I must get down to Llanon to see if the Rose Coloured Starling that John Valentine mentioned is still there.
