Leri Saltings

A visit to the Leri saltings this morning - as the tide fell back after what was the biggest tide of the year - was somewhat disappointing, as birds were conspicuous by their absence. Just a handful of Wigeon out on the water, seven Redshank and two Shelduck. A few Lapwing  and some Curlew.on the fields. One consolation was a Kestrel back along the Leri near the bridge.
