Adult spoonbill Ynys-hir

Too windy elsewhere so I though a drive through all the reserve in the land-rover was the best option. At Lodge Farm lapwing were displaying despite the cold and a peregrine had a go at 7 red-legged partridge I flushed at Hen Hafod (without success). At the Breakwater fields I was delighted to see an adult spoonbill in gorgeous breeding plumage. I hope this tick gives a twitch to a few in the county! It has been a few years since we last had one in the county.
