Yesterday there were 12 red kites circling in what appeared to be one thermal near Pentre Cwrt. Needless to say, silage cutting appears to have been the attraction. A superb sight none the less!
Also present were 4 buzzards, and it was interesting to see how much more territorial they were, putting on quite a flying display.
Also, might I just check on what is the accepted status of Eddie, as I see the bird racers didn't count him. If he is an escapee, where from? Does anyone actually know he is not a genuine free born eagle?
