Common Rosefinch...song

Going out of our back door this morning I was struck by the colourful song of a Starling sitting in the sun at the top of our big hawthorn - the main component of which was a beautiful rendition of Common Rosefinch song!  Has anyone else spotted eastern European/Russian birdsongs in their wintering starlings' repertoire?
