A Red Liford was showing well at 12:30 today in the Arts Centre with his mate.
He appeared to be indulging in a feeding frenzy but was remarkably tame and approached within a few feet. As usual the call was quite distinctive and the plumage confirmed it as a Red.
A very pleasing sighting for me today as I haven't seen a Red and Peggy for a few years.
