Concerns regarding the inclement weather, especially the blustery conditions proved not to have been necessary as the sun shone and eight of us enjoyed the delightful woodland and spectacular views as well as hearing and seeing in all 31 species.
They were ,in order of recording,
Jackdaw, Blue Tit,Chiffchaff, Robin,Great Tit,Gold Finch,Great spotted Woodpecker,Rook,Wood Pigeon,Black Cap,Wren,Buzzard,Gold Crest,Blackbird,Dunnock,Herring Gull,Mistle Thrush feeding 3 nestlings.Wood Warbler,Red Kite,Willow Warbler,Chaffinch,Nuthatch,Meadow Pipit,
Jay,Swallow,Coal Tit,Pair of Bullfinch,Garden Warbler,Magpie,Crow and after some effort a House Sparrow. Many thanks to Caroline for leading us.
