Wheatears

An hour’s walk from the house produced 28 Wheatears (only 5 female), 10 Mipits, 4 pair Pied Wagtail, 3 singing skylark plus one feeding, 1 Swallow, pair of Curlew and pair of Lapwing, 3 singing Redstart, 2 Willow Warbler, a Greylag goose and a hare.

Back at home 3 Siskins and a Redpoll have just started coming to the nyger seed having been absent all winter, similar to Bob’s observations. A Goldcrest also in the garden.
