Ynyslas this morning.

At Ynyslas this morning Harry and I watched as the tide gradually pushed small waders up the beach towards us.  Later Russell joined us.  There was a mixed flock of perhaps 300 Dunlin and Ringed Plover with a few Sanderling and a single Knott.  For a short while they were joined by about 35 Golden Plover, looking absolutely stunning in their summer plumage.  There were a few Sandwich Terns over the sea, 2 or 3 Manx Shearwaters, 2 or 3 Gannets and a single Fulmar.
At about 11:15 Harry and I saw our first Swift of the year at Glan Dwr.
