White-winged gull

A white winged gull was by the pier in Aberystwyth just before 5pm. It was being harrassed by a few herring gulls and flew north. I had my camera with me so hope to have a few pictures to help identify it.

It was definitely iceland gull size and a sub-adult.

A quick visit to Glandwr this afternoon as well (4pm) but no wood sand I’m sad to say. Just a pair of shelduck and a few canadas.
