Foel Fawr

It's a busy time of the year for parent birds, just look at the number of caterpillars this pipit has collected.  I struggled a wee bit whilst taking this photo, trying to decide whether it was tree or meadow - it looked to have a very light coloured breast, I couldn't see if it had an extra long nail on the back toe and, perhaps because it's beak is so full it didn't make any sound.  But when I got home and was able to see the delicate streaking extending down the side if its chest and belly, which shows well on this shot, I decided it's a tree pipit.
