The Egret was showing well on the Marian Mawr pools again late this afternoon - busy catching minnows (or sticklebacks?). Also a Kingfisher again, and an enormous post-breeding flock of Canada geese on the edge of the estuary.
Well displayed colour rings on Keith's excellent photo of the egret (ring colours: right leg dark green over light green, left leg orange over red). Does anyone know how to find out where it's come from?
