Lesser Spotted Woodpecker

Drain man came to visit yesterday. I was inwardly digesting the expensive sounding news he had to tell when he mentioned that he'd had "one of those smaller woodpeckers on my feeder recently, not far from the kitchen window." Since he lives in Llandre, it seems very likely to me that he'd been lucky enough to have a fantastic close up view of a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.
