Swifts

There were up to 14 Swifts swooping around the back of our house yesterday evening, the most I've ever seen here.  Thanks to Tony Clarke we have two splendid nest boxes and I've been playing recordings of calls to them.  They have been coming very close and I'm sure they must have noticed the boxes.  Maybe next year a pair or two will take up residence.  In the meantime it's wonderful to have them around.
