Marsh tits

Silke, Marsh tits stash food but so do Willow.  Marsh tend to retrieve theirs within a short time whereas Willows cache for longer.  In some research it was thought that the smaller hippocampus of the Marsh would indicate that it couldn't remember over long periods where it had put the food hence its predilection for short stores but the experiments didn't prove that to be true.
