Buster and me bumped into Harry at Ynyslas this morning, we went to see what birds were pushed towards us on the reasonably high tide. Before we met H I saw 1 Common Tern in amongst about 30 Sanwiches and 2 Wigeon on the sea with about 20 Common Scoter. I estimated c200 Manx Shearwaters passed, heading north during the 20 minutes I spent watching.
At the point we enjoyed good views of various waders - Dunlin, Ringed Plover, c25 Sanderling, 1 Curlew Sandpiper and 1 Knot.
We then visited Glandwr where there were another 5 Dunlin, 3 more Wigeon, 5 Shoveler, about 25 Teal and 4 Black-tailed Godwit.
