Llanrhystud to Llanon

Highlights of a few hours on the coast today included a common sandpiper, 2 grey plovers, 5 wheatear and a flock of 5 whooper swans (3 ad & 3 imms) flying north. Birds heading south included approx. 250 skylarks, 150 meadow pipits, 150 starlings and 25 alba wagtails. Followings Moira's reminder to look out for Golden Plovers there were 160 at Llanrhystud and approx. 750 at Ynyslas later in the day.
