Geese and things

A few escapees at RSPB Ynys-hir today, a cackling goose and a pink-footed goose both feeding together (they first turned up in July 2011 and have been seen together regulary since) and an Australian shelduck with the normal shelduck. Wild birds included a flock of 18 black-tailed godwits and a greenshank on the Breakwater fields, a peregrine and two kestrel and 47 little egrets roosting in trees on the Merionethshire side of the estuary.
