A few starlings were arriving around the pier this afternoon in the late afternoon sun but I couldn't wait to see if they built up to previous numbers. The roost near Swyddffynnon has not appeared this year.
I did, however, see marvellous murmuration patterns in the sky on Janet Baxter's cards for sale in the Craft Fair at the Arts' Centre open until Xmas and worth a visit.
And as Xmas has now been mentioned Nant Arian has stocks of Welsh Kite Trust cards featuring pictures by our own Jerry Moore and Mike Hayward, excellent value for money and worth a visit anyway at kite feeding time.
