For some time I have wondered how bird reports were coming from this prolific lake venue as we were chucked off by an employee of the owner who was literally shaking with nerves that we wouldn't move and he would be in trouble with his boss. Apparently he was fed up with people going there 'taking advantage' but we never used to see anyone except a householder nearby who fed the mallards. I think there were pigs in the field between the lake and houses. Great shame so must find the footpath now. Any advice on where to safely park MW? Who is responsible for the management of SSSI's in Carmarthen?
There are 2 male and 1 female Hen Harriers on the bog at the moment and yesterday one male hunted right in front of the waiting room…hallelujah!
