Today at Ynyslas two pale-bellied Brent Geese flew in from the sea, settled nearby and then moved upstream to where 6 dark-bellied Brents were feeding.
A pair of Whooper Swans drifted in from the sea with two cygnets and continued upstream.
11 Sanderling were present (20 at Borth yesterday) and by the mouth of the Leri there were 3 Greenshanks and 3 Grey Plovers.
On the nearby Ynys Tachwedd meadows there must have been up to 1000 Golden Plovers, plus a large number of Lapwings and several Curlew and 200 Dunlin.
