High tide at Ynyslas

After a long computerless period, I have decided to rejoin the modern world.

A short seawatch at Aberystwyth produced two Red-throated Divers and a lone Common Scoter.

Then to Ynyslas. As I was walking towards Aberleri boatyard, the rising tide pushed off three Greenshank which flew towards Ynys Tachwedd fields, where they were seen by Red Liford, along with ca 800 Golden Plover and good numbers of Curlews.

I then headed for the point, where I was joined by Red. John later joined us.

Only a few waders here; 10 each of Knot and Grey Plover and a few Dunlin
