There were two merlins seen (separately) on a last hunt for the day as we drove from Aberaeron to Tyn Reithin around 4pm.
Spectacular late afternoon sun with a snowy Snowdon just visible above some blue-grey clouds.
I also spotted a washing machine in the middle of a small layby…rather surreal.
(I added that in the absence of any more bird sightings.)
