Not deterred by recent blogs about bird-less seas I went to the coast...... and saw virtually nothing out at sea. A couple of distant sparkles on the water and something flying fast from right to left were probably Red-throated Divers. Wader numbers rather as last month included the leucistic Oystercatcher. A Merlin shot over the old kilns.
