An Aberystwyth miscellany

On a glorious spring morning I started at Castle point. Passing offshore were six Common Scoter, two Curlew, two Red-throated Divers, a Fulmar and a Gannet.  Six Ringed Plover and five Purple Sandpipers were pushed ever closer on the rising tide.
A walk along the riverbank from Morrison's started with a Dipper, then a Moorhen. Great views then of a Goldcrest and one of three singing Chiffchaffs.  Further downstream were three Goosander; a male with two females.
