How many Black Redstarts in Aber?

After checking the Purple Sandpiper roost (still 11) this morning I went up to the shelter on the castle to find a very smart male Black Redstart that was definitely not ringed.
Very quiet out to sea, only one Red-throated Diver, but I spent most of the session chatting to Helen H, who had happened along.
Yesterday I had a walk along Tanybwlch, hoping for an early Wheatear. No luck; in fact there were very few small birds around. Highlights were a Kingfisher flying downriver and, offshore, two Common Scoter and a feeding Gannet.
