Now some may think our local Ringing Group had targeted the Shrike at Cross Inn but I have it on good authority that isn't so.
It is however of great interest to know where it has come from so if it hangs around much longer it may with the necessary permissions in place be re-trapped.
The previous sightings of the Cross Inn shrike were good enough to show that it was unringed.
