David the cuckoo ringed and tagged by Tony Cross in May 2012 is almost back, he is in northern France having made the long journey to and from the Congo 6 times…amazing.

Yesterday during the walk on the new paths in Coed Y Bont we came within 20 feet of a sitting tawny owl thanks to Tony Allenby's keen eyes…a real treat for the folk who came along. Beautiful morning with warblers in full song.
