A yaffling and drumming Green Woodpecker was seen/heard this morning (Tuesday 21st) on one of my BBS squares above Felinfach creamery. A second bird was also calling nearby. First time on this square although I reported one in Felinfach village some years ago (2007). Drumming is apparently rare - I can't immediately recall if I have indeed heard this woodpecker species drumming.
