Sandwich Tern, etc.

During a half-hour seawatch from Castle point not a single bird passed until, just as I was about to move on, a Sandwich Tern appeared, paused briefly just off the point, and then continued northwards.
On the sea were single Guillemot and Red-throated Diver, both still in non-breeding plumage.
During this time, a party of 30 Turnstones had flown onto the stone buttress thing which juts out from Castle point.
Then to Tanybwlch, where a pair of Linnets were on a fence near Spencer's sheds.
Finally, up the Devil's Bridge road to Bryngwyn, thanks to Sue and Terry's very kind offer.
Spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the sunshine, failing to see the Hawfinch, but passed the time chatting to Sue, Terry and Arfon, among others.
