ukelele hoopoe

I've been away for a couple of weeks and today took Tomos to his ukelele lesson in Tregaron. Gerald Morgan, the teacher, said to me;"you'll never guess what I saw on my lawn whilst you were away." "A hoopoe?" I ventured, innocently. He showed me a picture on his phone of the bird that he and his wife saw on the 12th (a day earlier than the note on the blog). They both live near the playing field as mentioned.
