Yesterday at Aberarth

I was out today (Saturday 4th) on a walk from Aberarth to Morfa Farm and back - what a stunning day and the coast was alive with birds.
Probably 20+ swallows heading north along the coast - my first this year. 12 or so kites feeding on the ridge interspersed with ravens and buzzards.
Best of the day for me was a couple of peregrines working the cliff and ridge. These were only just better than the 4 choughs also on the ridge.
Others - stonechat, herring gull, lesser black backed, great black backed, cormorant, oystercatcher, dunnock, robin, blackbird, jackdaw, goldfinch. No wheatear today or whitethroat.
