I visited Cors Caron for the first time on Saturday and spotted a pair of
Marsh/Willow Tit along the old railway, I wasn't 100% sure which species it was
but I'm leaning towards Marsh Tit. I'm not sure of their record in this area so
is it likely to have been Marsh Tit or a Willow Tit?
Also seen were Pied Flycatcher x1, Stonechat x4, Meadow Pipit x6,
Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap,
Great Spotted Woodpecker, Robin, Wren, Dunnock, Grey Heron, Mallard and many Red
Kite soaring over!
