Purple Sandpipers and other waders, mostly.

Still four Purple Sandpipers in Aber; they were on the rocks by the wooden jetty at high tide. I know they've been photographed probably more than any other birds in the county, but I couldn't resist it.
Then to Ynyslas: just 190 Dunlin, 11 Ringed Plover, a Curlew and two Sandwich Terns.
I stopped off on the way home to watch these House Martins building their nest on the lifeboat station at Borth, and piched up another seven Sandwich Terns and three Common Scoter.
