I'm sure that many others would like join Jon in thanking Bob for his sterling efforts in setting up then administering the blog for such a long time.
I would also like to add my thanks to Bob. As he said to me when I agreed to take over " I thought it was about time to hand over to an older man "
So keep those sightings coming. I'm sure we all enjoy reading about the birds that others have seen, and admiring their photographs.
As I sit looking out at a dull, damp and windy morning I can't help feeling a little envious of John Davis, who is today flying out to the fantastic birding island of Lesvos. So, any of you who normally send your sightings to John to post on the blog, please send them to me.
Finally, thanks again to Bob and I will do my best to keep up the good work, despite my often uneasy relationship with computers.
